Taylor or "Taylor Boy" as he was affectionatly called, was a very special dog. His mother was a Rhodesian Ridgeback
show dog, she was accidently bred by a neighbours Yellow Lab. The mothers owners were going to drown the puppies so
their neighbours took in the pups and bottle fed them.
We got him in October of 2003 and he was the best dog we could have had. He was definatly my husbands dog.
They did everything together. Taylors favorite things were quading and golfing with my husband. My husband never
let Taylor up on the bed, so every morning Taylor would watch out the window until Steve's headlights pulled out of the driveway,
then he would jump up on the bed and snuggle into the blankets with me.
On January 20, 2006 Taylor and our German Shepherd, Lady wandered off. They were missing until Febuary 2nd when
Lady came home without Taylor. We had to rush her to the vet, she had been caught in a coyote snare. We searched
everywhere for our beloved Taylor. The coward who put up these traps has yet to come forward. We know they live
close to us as our dogs have never wandered before.
We think about Taylor Boy everyday and miss him very much.
